This is great! Thank you so much for writing it for me; I really have been very fortunate in the course of Eleventy Fest. I love the idea of the Ponds and Jack (and the Avengers? And the MIB??) keeping New York under control while the Doctor is unable to do so, and doing it with panache as well, right into their later years. The little glimpses of their home life were really nice, as was the characterisation of Jack, with so much going on under his affable exterior, especially the bit where he gets very serious about the passage of years. And of course drunk!Canton not really knowing what's going on but deciding to roll with it anyway is the cherry on top. Thanks again - I thought this was very well done and I really enjoyed reading it. :)
